Special Eid in 2011

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful...

Assalamu Alaikum...

On the 25th of August 2011, Thursday I finished season 5: Master Quest. I also started watch season 6: Advanced on that day. On the 26th of August I attended the Friday and prayer. On the 27th of August 2011, Saturday I had a failed outing for a haircut.

On the 28th of August I changed the light bulb in the bathroom. I retrieved money from the bank on that day. Hurricane Irene hit the east coast of the U.S. on that day. On the 29th of August 2011, Monday I took out the garbage.

I thought up the name "Silver Breeze" for my new watch on that day. I took a haircut on that day. I also took a shower and shampoo on that day. On the 30th of August 2011, Tuesday it was supposedly the first day of Eid al-Fitr 1432.

I visited my aunt on that day. It was the first time I visited her in several months. It was a nice visit. My brother called through Nomog on that day, some time after I returned home from my visit.

On the 31st of August 2011, Wednesday I decided to term Eid al-Fitr 1432 as "The Odd Eid". I took a shampoo and fasted on that day. It was the first day of the six days of Shawaal that I fasted. I decided to name Eid al-Fitr 1432 as the Odd Eid for a reason.

There's a strong possibility that the Eid actually started on the 31st of August 2011, Wednesday and not a day before. That means Ramadan 1432 was 30 days. Insha' Allah He would accept all of our fasts.

The visit that I had with my aunt was the first time I wore the new Eid clothes I bought, along with Breeze Shoes. The photo above is a photo of me in the family store in my new Eid clothes, Breeze Shoes and with a haircut as well.

On the 1st of September 2011, Thursday I fasted. It was the second day of the six days of Shawaal that I fasted. On the 2nd of September there was an electricity outage. I attended the Friday speech and prayer on that day.

I fasted on that day as well. It was the third day of the six days of Shawaal that I fasted. On the 3rd of September 2011, Saturday I fasted. It was the fourth day of the six days of Shawaal that I fasted. Yesterday was the 4th of September.

I took out the garbage yesterday. I had an outing to Mecca Mall yesterday. I had more than one errand in Mecca Mall. The first was to pay for the land phone bill, which was successful alhamdullah. After that I bought some Subway sandwiches.

That was the second and last errand, which was also successful alhamdullah. I had an argument with some pro-Assad supporters on twitter yesterday, but I don't want to get into details about that. I fasted yesterday. It was the fifth day of the six days of Shawaal that I fasted.

Today is the 5th of September 2011, Monday. I had an outing to pay for the electricity bill earlier today, but today isn't over yet. There's some stuff I need to do in the home. Today is my last day of fasting the six days of Shawaal also.

January 2010 Departure

Assalamu Alaikum...

On the 1st of January 2010, Friday there was an electricity outage. I cleaned one side of the oven partially on that day, and I changed the gas canister for the gas heater on that day. I took a shower and shampoo on the 2nd of January.

I shaved some for the first time with a shaving device on that day. That day was the first anniversary for Al-Darb Diya. There was an electricity outage on the 3rd of January 2010, Sunday. I bought a new calendar for 2010 on that day.

I visited a friend of mine on that day. That day there was a family outing to Mecca Mall with me, my brother and my mom going there. It was the first time had been in Mecca Mall ever.

I prayed Qiyam Lail during the early morning for the first time in 2010 before the dawn prayer, on the 4th of January 2010. Two friends visited the home on that day. I got a new green blanket for my bed on that day.

My father called my brother on that day, because my father tried calling me but my cellular was in my bedroom and I was here in the living room, so I didn't hear it. On the 5th of January 2010, Tuesday I took out the garbage.

The garbage included an old blanket of mine. Since I had a new blanket, there was no need for the old one. I retrieved money from the bank on that day, and I took a shower and shampoo on that day. We had a family visit to some relatives on that day.

I clipped my finger nails and some of my toe nails on the 6th of January. The 7th of January 2010, Thursday was a long day for me, my brother and my mom. The three of us went on a family outing to my mom's dental appointment.

A new appointment was made for her and myself on that day. I dealt with getting a new Jordanian passport to a large degree on the 7th of January. Getting a new one isn't over yet. My brother and a friend helped me reach to the process I'm at now.

I visited a few friends of mine on that day, and I cleared up some books in the guest room. I observed some workers dealing with putting down a new carpet in the hallway on that day. I put up the new clotheslines and dealt with it on that day.

My mom changed the location of the land phone on that day. I took a shower and took out the garbage on the 8th of January. As for yesterday, which was the 9th of January 2010, Saturday, it was a long day.

I stayed awake throughout the night because it was early that morning my brother would be leaving Jordan back to the U.S. I played with my brother on the Playstation during the early morning before the dawn prayer yesterday.

My brother departed Jordan during the early morning of that day. I went with some friends who took him to the airport to see him off. Once we saw my brother off, my friends and I went back to my friends' family car.

The car key was inside, and we were locked outside the car. It took some effort but with help from some others we were able to eventually get into the car and leave the airport. As for today, the 10th of January 2010, Sunday, I took out the garbage.

I exchanged two empty gas canister with two full ones this morning. I had an outing to pay the telephone bill and later on afterward I retrieved some clothes for my mom from a tailor's shop.

This post is titled what it is because my brother went back to the U.S. during this month. As soon as I came back home yesterday from seeing my brother off in the airport, I slept for some time, and I eventually woke up close to the noon prayer.

It wasn't a comfortable sleep, but that was dealt with when I slept last night. I slept like a baby alhamdullah, getting the sleep I need during the right time. Take care, and assalamu alaikum...
