In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful...
Assalamu Alaikum...
I had been planning to deal with this post today. I'm glad I'm dealing with it now. Insha' Allah this post won't be the last one this month. It is the first one in some time without a photo though. It would be somewhat short, but I don't mind that. On the 7th of June 2014, Saturday Ukraine officially got a new president.
That president is Petro Poroshenko. He seems like he would be an interesting President of Ukraine, especially in its time of need. I would advise President Poroshenko to not let Ukraine join the EU or NATO, or any Russian-led organization. Ukraine can stand on its own in the world and deal with Russia and the EU.
It can deal with both without being too close or joining either one. I think Poroshenko is aware of this. I hope Poroshenko is wise in dealing with eastern Ukraine. I would advise him not to set a deadline for himself in dealing with what is happening in eastern Ukraine.
On that day I decided to name my mom's new digital camera as "Black Rainbow". On the 8th of June my brother called through Magic Jack. On the 9th of June 2014, Monday I took out the garbage. I decided to name July 2014 as "Orchid July" on that day. I thought up the fandom story "Drums of Defense" on that day.
I won't get into details about it. On the 10th of June 2014, Tuesday I took out the garage. I paid for the electricity bill on that day. On the 11th of June 2014, Wednesday I had an outing for some shopping at Yaser Shopping Center. It was my first outing there since my brother returned to the U.S.
On the 12th of June it was the start of the World Cup 2014 in Brazil. I remember in the past that I had plans to attend it there. In the end Allah was against those plans and so the plans weren't successful. I think that is for the best for me, especially with the protests against the World Cup going on in Brazil.
On the 13th of June 2014, Friday I attended the Friday speech and prayer. It was the first Friday since my brother returned to the U.S. It was an emotional day for me. It was somewhat good timing also alhamdullah. Spain had its first match in the World Cup on that day. It was against the Netherlands.
Spain lost 1-5 against the Netherlands. I'm cheering both Spain and Algeria in the World Cup in Brazil, just like I cheered them both during the last World Cup. This time I won't mind if neither one of them won and are kicked out of the World Cup. Again that is because of the protests in Brazil.
I think that teams being kicked out and defeated in the World Cup in Brazil would be a good thing for them. On the 14th of June I took out the garbage. Yesterday was the 16th of June. I had an outing for some shopping yesterday. I took a shampoo and clipped my finger nails yesterday.
Today is the 17th of June 2014, Tuesday. I took out the garage earlier today. The Blue Peacock Revolution in Iraq is picking up pace against al-Maliki's regime and its supporters. I think it might be somewhat a blessing that ISIS in Iraq has some control over some Muslim land in Iraq.
The mainstream media (including perhaps some alternative media or independent media) either ignore what's happening in the areas that are controlled by the revolutionaries of the Blue Peacock Revolution or simply mention "negative" stuff.
They don't mention the positive stuff the ISIS in Iraq has done on the areas it controls, along with other revolutionary forces. This post wasn't as short as I thought it would be. That's somewhat good and nice I guess. There would be at least one more post this month insha' Allah. No photo for this post obviously.
Take care, and assalamu alaikum...
