In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful...
Assalamu Alaikum...
On the 11th of February 2011, Friday I attended the Friday speech and prayer. It was on that day that Egypt's ex-President Hosni Mubarak stepped down from power. On the 12th of February I had an outing to Yaser Shopping Center.
On the 13th of February 2011, Sunday I had an outing to pay for the bills. I first paid for the land phone bill and then on my way back, I paid for the electricity and water bills. I changed the gas canister for the gas heater on that day.
On the 14th of February I took out the garbage. I exchanged three empty gas canisters with three full ones on that day. On the 15th of February 2011, Tuesday I had an outing for some bread. I clipped my finger nails on that day.
On the 16th of February it rained. On the 17th of February 2011, Wednesday it rained also. My brother called through my cellular on that day. On the 18th of February I attended the Friday speech and prayer. I took a shampoo on that day.
Yesterday was the 19th of February 2011, Saturday. I had an outing for some shopping yesterday. Today is the 20th of February 2011, Sunday. I took out the garbage today.
I named this post as I did because of what's happening in the Middle East these months. With all that is happening, there seems to be a better future for those unborn babies for countries like Tunisia and Egypt now.
Only Allah knows how things would turn out in Bahrain, Algeria, Libya, Yemen and here in Jordan as well. Last Friday was the first time pro-government supporters and anti-government protesters clashed here in Amman.
Eight of the protesters were injured. Although the Jordanian government said it had nothing to do it, the current prime minister was an ex-intelligence official, so I won't be surprised if the government indirectly encouraged pro-government supporters out.
I would even be deeply suspicious of the government being behind the clashes, as I hold the government for what happened. I don't know if any more clashes would happen like that here in Jordan. I ask Allah that they don't happen again.
That won't be in my hands since only Allah knows what would happen, and things could only get worse before they get better. There hasn't been any deaths yet, but I fear there might be deaths in the future. Take care, and assalamu alaikum...

Revolutions in the Air
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful...
Assalamu Alaikum...
On the 30th of January 2011, Sunday I changed the gas canister for the gas heater in the living room. I clipped my finger nails and some of my toe nails on that day. On the 31st of January 2011, Monday it rained.
On the 1st of February 2011, Tuesday I created my otameno.jaacto e-mail account. It rained on that day. I changed the light bulb of the bathroom with my bedroom on that day, because the light bulb of the bathroom had burned out some days before.
On the 2nd of February I took out the garbage. It was on that day that I had an outing for some bread. There was clashed between pro-Mubarak supporters and anti-regime protesters in Cairo on that day.
On the 3rd of February 2011, Thursday my brother called through my cellular on that day. On the 4th of February 2011, Friday it rained. I didn't attend the Friday speech and prayer for a second week in the row on that day.
On the 5th of February 2011, Saturday there was an electricity outage. I changed the gas canister in the gas heater here in the living room on that day. I also changed the gas canister for the stove in the kitchen on that day.
That was the first time this year that I change two empty gas canisters in different location with two full ones. On the 6th of February I took out the garbage. I failed to retrieve the money from the bank on that day.
On the 7th of February 2011, Monday it rained. I retrieved the money my brother transferred from the bank on that day. I fasted on that day. On the 8th of February I retrieved the money my dad transferred from the bank.
I had an outing for some shopping on that day. I put a new night light in my bedroom on that day. Also on that day I changed the battery for the clock here in the living room. My brother called on that day.
Yesterday was the 9th of February 2011, Wednesday. After a few months of not visiting my aunt, or not being successful in it, I was finally able to visit her yesterday alhamdullah. I helped my aunt on an outing to downtown, Amman.
Afterward I helped her out on an errand she sent me on alone. I paid the telephone bill for her. I had a good adventure and good day yesterday. As for today, it's the 10th of February 2011, Thursday. I took out the garbage today.
It is raining on and off today. The title of the post comes from the revolutions that is happening in the Arab World. Stuff is happening in numerous countries, where it is ongoing in Egypt and is happening slowly here in Jordan.
It is also happening in places like Algeria and Yemen. I don't want to get into any details about any of them though. Take care, and assalamu alaikum...

Rent Quad
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful...
Assalamu Alaikum...
On the 10th of January 2011, Monday I had an outing to the internet café. I deactivated my comeback profile on that day. On the 12th of January I washed some dishes in the kitchen sink. I cleaned the pipe of the bathroom sink on that day.
I took a shampoo on that day. On the 13th of January 2011, Thursday I had an outing to bring the PC to the computer to be fixed, and I left it there for awhile. Afterward I got some credit for my cellular.
Soon after I returned home I put the credit I got on my cellular credit. I had an outing to the internet café on that day. I retrieved the PC from the computer store afterward. I activated my comeback profile on that day.
On the 14th of January I changed the gas canister for the gas heater in the living room. I attended the Friday speech and prayer on that day. There were protests in numerous cities in Jordan against the government on that day.
The Tunisian President fled from Tunisia on that day. He is an ex-president of Tunisia. He fled due to the revolution of his people in Tunisia. I think the revolution is still going on against ruling people who were close to the ex-president.
With that Tunisia is setting an example for other Arab countries. It is already the sixth day in a row of protests in Egypt and numerous interesting things are happening there.
On the 16th of January I took out the garbage. I had an outing to the internet café on that day. I used the scanner at the internet café for the new rent contract on that day. It rained on that day.
On the 17th of January 2011, Monday I had an outing for some shopping. My brother called through my cellular on that day. Jordan qualified for the next round after defeating Syria 2-1 in the Asia Cup 2011 on that day.
On the 18th of January I had an outing to pay the water bill. Soon afterward I got some printed copies of the new contract rent. On the 19th of January 2011, Wednesday I clipped my finger nails.
The 20th of January 2011, Thursday is dubbed "Rent Quad", hence the title. I signed the new rent contract on that day. That day is named as such basically because I signed the new rent contract. The rent of the home is now in my name.
It was previously in my dad's name. On the 21st of January 2011, Friday the Friday speech was about Taqwa. It was nonsense and propaganda. The speech was about Taqwa, but the Imam was obviously pro-government.
He was someone else that was different from the usual Imam of that mosque. On the 22nd of January I had an outing to the internet café. On my way back I got some bread.
I changed the gas canister for the gas heater in the living room on that day. On the 23rd of January 2011, Sunday I took out the garbage. I had an outing with my mom for some shopping on that day.
On the 24th of January I had an outing to Yaser Shopping Center for shopping. On the 25th of January 2011, Tuesday I had another outing to bring the PC to the computer store to be fixed, and I left it there for awhile.
I bought myself some earphones for my cellular on my way back on that day. I had an outing to the internet café on that day. I retrieved the PC from the computer store on that day.
On the 26th of January I exchanged an empty gas canister with a full gas canister. I watched all of the fourteen movies of Detective Conan on that day. On the 28th of January, I didn't attend the Friday speech and prayer.
I don't want to get into that. I received a call through my cellular from my dad on that day. It rained on that day. Today is the 30th of January 2011, Sunday. It has been raining on and off today.
I changed the gas canister for the gas heater in the living room today. I clipped my finger nails and some of my toe nails today. I've been entertaining myself by watching Detective Conan episodes.
First I download them and then I watch what I downloaded. If I like the episode or episodes, I convert them and keep the converted forms. Take care, and assalamu alaikum...

Up with the Prices
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful...
Assalamu Alaikum...
This is going to be the first post on Jaacto Times during the Year of Breeze while I'm here in the internet cafe. I won't be getting into that though. On the 7th of January 2011, Friday the Friday speech was about parents and obeying them.
My brother called through my cellular on that day. I changed the gas heater in the living room on that day. On the 8th of January it rained. I clipped my finger nails and some of my toe nails on that day. I got surprising news about the rent going up on that day.
I found out from my mom and instead of 110 JDs a month now, it would be 130 JDs a month now. The rent would start to be like that starting from next month. The landlord wants a new contract with us in order to have the rent be 130 JDs.
Yesterday was the 9th of January 2011, Sunday. The historic referendum of South Sudan started yesterday. I took out the garbage yesterday. I was able to retrieve the digital camera of mine from a friend of mine yesterday. I had an outing for some bread yesterday.
I also had an outing for some shopping at Yaser Shopping Center. I'm planning to buy a few neck scarves soon after I leave the internet cafe, and before I return home today. Take care, and assalamu alaikum...

Second Anniversary of Al-Darb Diya
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful...
Assalamu Alaikum...
This is obviously going to be the first post for Jaacto Times during this year, which is what I dubbed as the Year of Breeze. I think the title suits the first post for this blog and this year good.
On the 31st of December 2010, Friday it rained. I changed the gas canister for the gas heater on that day. I also took a shampoo on that day. I clipped my finger nails and some of my toe nails on that day.
That day was the last day of the Year of the Owl or 2010. Onward into the Year of Breeze! On the 2nd of January I exchanged three empty gas canisters with three full ones. I had an outing for a 2011 calendar on that day.
I bought a nice winter cap for myself on that day. That day marked the second anniversary for Al-Darb Diya. Two years have passed since I first started Al-Darb Diya. On the 3rd of January 2011, Sunday the Asia 1 Convoy arrived in Gaza.
On that day I had an outing for an adapter for the vacuum cleaner. I had an outing to help tutor a friend of mine in English on that day. On the 4th of January I took out the garbage and I had an outing with my mom.
On the 5th of January 2011, Wednesday I retrieved money from the bank. Yesterday was the 6th of January. I had an outing for some shopping yesterday. As for today, the Asia Cup 2011 starts in Qatar today.
That's it for the first post for the Year of Breeze. More posts would come during this year insha' Allah. Take care, and assalamu alaikum...
